Aims and Mission Statement |
To enable gay, lesbian, straight, bisexual and transgendered people to learn, improve and
compete in water polo together in an open, inclusive and friendly environment.
1 To provide the LGBT community with a safe and welcoming environment in which they
can learn and play water polo
2 To support both a men's and a women’s team, and, where appropriate, a mixed team
3 To enable players from the LGBT and straight communities to train and play together in
an environment where sexuality is not an issue
4 To provide a warm welcome to all
5 To provide water polo coaching of the highest standards to people of all abilities - from
beginner to advanced
6 To enable both experienced players and people who have never played polo to improve
their polo ability and to compete
7 To compete in international gay tournaments
8 To compete in local leagues and tournaments
9 To host regular international water polo tournaments
10 To support the gay and local community
11 To provide opportunities for members to socialise together |
