Established in July 2007, the Manchester Sharks are the North of England's first Gay and Lesbian Polo club. The team has been around for some years now as a valued aspect to Northern Wave Swim Club. It was decided that the team would be better suited running separate to Northern Wave; creating the birth of one of Manchester's youngest gay sports clubs.

Throughout the years the team has grown from a few men. The team has now grown from several quads, creating a world wide reputation;  hosting international tournaments. We are also fully committed to building a women's team.

Manchester Sharks compete in a local league, attend and win in national and international tournaments and participate in some of the world's largest sporting events.

Everyone of our members is encouraged to reach their goals, whether this is fitness, fun or polo orientated. We try to improve your capability and win through excellent training within a gay environment.
